Job Purpose
The Director of Software Technology oversees the daily operations and strategic direction of the agency’s software initiatives. This role provides leadership and vision for software development, data integrity, system integrations, and vendor partnerships in alignment with the agency’s strategic plan.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in software support, project coordination, or related technical role.
- Familiarity with software development processes, system implementation, or technology management.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn and grow within a leadership role.
- Ability to travel as needed to support software initiatives or represent the agency.
Core Job Duties
- Provide oversight of the agency software departments to ensure effective collaboration, high-quality deliverables, efficiency, and innovation, that supports both current operations and future growth.
- Professionally communicate, negotiate, and build strong relationships with various third-party software vendors.
- Foster a team atmosphere that ensures all software departments collaborate to promote strong problem solving.
- Perform software and licensing audits to ensure proper utilization of software within the agency.
- Provide strategic insights and regular reports to the IT Officer and senior leadership.
- Models sound judgement and ethical practices in daily decision making.
- Exhibits a professional appearance, attitude and demeanor that reflects confidence, positive self-esteem and overall professionalism when working with person(s)-served, co-workers, families and referral sources.
- Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
- Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
