This role is on 2nd Shift, 4pm - 2am Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities:
Transport raw material as needed (Ability to lift 50lbs is required)
Tend to machines with a high level of focus on safety, quality and productivity.
Inspect the product using visual inspection precision tools and equipment
Maintain a lean and organized work area.
Follow all policies, procedures, and management systems
Perform all duties in full compliance of all laws, safety and environmental regulations
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Work in a collaborative team environment
Possess the ability to operate machinery that utilizes high power magnets
Show initiative, eagerness and a drive to gain knowledge and advance with SMARTRAC
High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities, while adapting as needed based on business demands
Resourcefulness, accuracy, problem solving, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
Display a strong work ethic and commitment
Ability to promote the company’s goals of continuous improvement through engagement
Effectively communicate with our employees, contractors and outside vendors.
Good attendance and punctuality is a must.
Display honesty, integrity and ethics
Possess mechanical aptitude, including measuring in millimeters and basic math skills
Basic computer skills are required
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
No Previous RFID experience required
