Under general supervision of the Hays County Treasurer. The intern will assist the Treasurer’s office with duties as assigned. The intern must maintain a standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
This position current serves under the discretion of the elected official.
Position Duties
Responsibilities
• Shreds daily documents within the treasurer's office as needed
• Assists in sealing all outgoing checks in preparation for distribution
• Performs light filing of deposit warrants and any other filing
• Prepares shred lists for purging 2026 • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
? Graduation from high school or GED.
? Enrolled in Bobcat Rise Program Through Texas State University
