Job Summary: We have a great opportunity for a BPA Senior Planning and Business Intelligence Analyst to join our newly forming BPA Planning & Performance team, part of the wider BPA Operations Team at Alderley Park. The team exists to turn data into decisions – delivering MI, automation, and insight that protect profitability, improve capacity, and strengthen governance across the entire BPA lifecycle. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that support our strategic goals.
About the Role:
- Lead the development of BPA MI with business intelligence solutions to support decision-making processes.
- Provide operational insight & resource planning – with predictive capacity models to identify bottlenecks and support resourcing.
- Implement automation and AI solutions to reduce manual work and enhance data quality. Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define business requirements.
- Create and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to end-users on business intelligence tools and systems.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and analysis.
- Continuously improve and optimise business intelligence processes and systems.
About You:
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Track record of delivering continuous improvement in MI, reporting or planning environments.
- Proven ability to generate insight from data, especially resource/capacity planning or financial data.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement – able to simplify complex analysis into clear insights and visuals for non-technical leaders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
