ECS is seeking an HCM Project Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager – Human Capital Modernization to lead and deliver HR technology initiatives that support business transformation, operational efficiency, and enhanced employee experience. This role requires a strong background in project management, business process engineering, Lean Six Sigma, and—most importantly—stakeholder and customer engagement. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and end users across the organization to ensure successful project outcomes and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead HCM projects, including planning, execution, risk management, resource allocation, and post-implementation support.
- Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Business Process Engineering: Analyze, design, and optimize HR processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience. Align technology solutions with re-engineered workflows.
- Lean Six Sigma Application: Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement across HR systems and processes.
- Change Management & Training: Develop and execute change management and training strategies to support system adoption and minimize disruption during transitions.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to OPM, Federal Regulations and internal IT governance, security standards, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, business requirements, test cases, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
