Position Description:
The Service Coordinator ensures the efficient and smooth operation of our vehicle service processes. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences by managing service appointments, coordinating service technicians, and maintaining open communication with customers to keep them informed about the status of their vehicles. Attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute significantly to the success of our service department.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle incoming calls or walk-ins to the Service Drive: answering client questions, making appointments, taking messages for Service Advisor, coordinating with Client Care Center Schedulers
- Handle outbound calls: reminding clients of upcoming appointments, relaying Service Advisor messages
- Coordinate all service appointments based on vehicle brand guidelines
- Coordinates all detail, dent repairs, water leaks, and glass repairs with vendors
- Provide recommendations for recalls and pick-up/delivery to customers
- Support Lincoln Loaner Program by coordinating travel logistics with Red Cap Driver Program.
- Greeting clients when entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions, directing them to the appropriate Service Advisor or location
- Support the logistics/communications of the Lincoln Mobile Van between driver, parts department, and customers
- Carefully plan routes for drivers of the service van in order to be cost efficient while adding the most services possible in a day based on the weather and customer’s schedule
- Assist Service Advisors on follow up calls to clients on status of their vehicles: notifying when vehicle is / will be ready for pick up
- Print leads weekly for Sales Managers
- Sets first service appointment for sales department after the initial sales of a vehicle
- Become active participant in skills and knowledge enhancement with a growth mindset: by attending Schumacher University, brand webinars and trainings, staying abreast of current state of automotive industry standards and strategies
- Walking short distances repeatedly throughout the day to assist clients, Service Advisors, and visitors.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- Adept at finding solutions quickly
- Computer proficiency; familiarity with dealership software systems, and scheduling tools
All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment. Pre-Employment testing includes a successful background check and drug testing.

Education/Requirements:
- High school or equivalent
