About the Role:

The Radiation Therapist plays a critical role in the delivery of radiation treatment to patients diagnosed with cancer and other diseases requiring radiation therapy. This position involves working closely with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement precise treatment plans that maximize therapeutic effects while minimizing exposure to healthy tissues. The therapist is responsible for operating sophisticated radiation equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing compassionate care throughout the treatment process. Accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to achieving successful patient outcomes. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification as a Radiation Therapist.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program or equivalent education.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for radiation oncology procedures as prescribed and directed by the radiation oncologist.
  • Records delivery of patient treatments in a complete and timely manner. 
  • Demonstrates clinical skills in providing patient care. 
  • Utilizes communication skills effectively when interacting with patients, families, other employees, and physicians. 


A conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks.  A Physical Capacity Profile may be required for some positions.
