Operator Trainer bei High Valley Transit

Description

High Valley Transit, located in Utah, is seeking candidates for Operator Trainers. This individual will be supporting the Deputy Manager for both in classroom and on the road training. The Operator Trainer will be working with both non-CDL hires as well as current CDL holders. In addition to training, this position is also responsible for safely transporting people by bus on regularly scheduled High Valley Transit bus routes.

The Operator Trainer will work under the direct supervision of both the Deputy Manager and Fixed Route Manager.

SALARY RANGE: $30.00-$33.00/hourly depending on experience and qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Possess a valid Utah driver's license with no moving violations in the past six months
• Class B Commercial Drivers License with Air Brakes and Passenger Endorsement required and held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Training experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal and background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Demonstration of recent customer service experience while operating on a fixed route service
• Department of Transportation Medical DOT Card
• Ability to perform the physical requirement of the job including regular walking, floor to waist lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally/carrying up to 15 lbs. occasionally, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crouching, balancing, bending, and prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
