We are looking for a Quality Control Chemist (Chemist II) to join our Agricultural Solutions team based in Palmyra, MO. Relocation assistance is available, if applicable.

As a Quality Control Chemist you will support and provide analytical method development, verification, and validation. You will support manufacturing troubleshooting efforts through non-routine analytical testing and be responsible for the introduction, setup, training, and transfer of new products, methodologies, and related laboratory instrumentation.
As a Quality Control Chemist, you create chemistry by...
- Maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Performing non-routine testing as needed to troubleshoot issues in the lab and manufacturing.
- Performing routine testing as needed for Hannibal-supported tollers and manufacturers.
- Performing method validations and verifications for the site and supported tollers/manufacturers with a focus on final products.
- Acting as Quality ORT Representative by introducing, setting up, training, and transferring new product methodologies and related laboratory instrumentation.
- Performing required method development for the site.
- Supporting continuous improvement (CI) projects as needed.
- Analyzing test results to ensure conformity and implementing necessary improvements.
- Researching and testing new analytical technologies for the lab and production.
- Supporting manufacturing in-line analyzers.
If you...
- Possess a BS/BA degree in Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Have a BS/BA with a minimum of 6 years of analytical laboratory experience; for MS/PhD, possess a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Have analytical laboratory work experience including data review, interpretation, and troubleshooting.
- Possess working knowledge of laboratory analytical testing techniques.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong organization skills.
- Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have previous experience supporting in-line analyzers, a plus.
