Position-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities: |
· Maintains organization of clinical stock areas with dividers, bins, tags, and piggy back labels. · Maintains par level stock in MedSurg, SCU, ED, Perioperative, Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiopulmonary. Performs item count, pulls, delivers, and rotates stock. · Rotates stock placed into inventory. Maintains bin location catalog and bin location labels. · Maintains Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on the online SDS software. · Processes stock item requisitions. Pulls, distributes, and expenses items noting stock shortages. · Manages vendor access to the hospital and employee access to the Material Management Department. · Handles product and equipment recalls upon receipt. · Manages contracted orthopedic medical device account for MRH. · May cover for other positions within the department. · Performs other duties as assigned. Assists with the following duties: · Catalogs the receipt of assets and tags them with the appropriate tracking I.D. number. · Receive freight verifying appropriate delivery location, quantity, and package integrity. Documents damages, shortages, overages, and miss-shipments with the vendor and on department MMIS. · Scans documents received with packages into MMIS. · Packages and processes outbound shipments. Completes transfer tickets for RMA’s, repairs, and returns. · Places order and maintains contracted toner supply for MRH. · Manages the reuse of expired medical products. · Manages all goods with expiration dates in the storeroom and clinical stock areas. Sends outdated goods to the designated location · Maintains inbound and outbound mail. Maintains stock of shipping supplies. · Files all completed purchase orders on a daily basis. · Taxis individuals to and from the airport, hospital, clinic, and various locations (doctors, consultants, interviewees, etc.) · Sorts, transports, and performs pick-ups and deliveries of mail, packages, equipment, instruments, specimens, and bank deposits to various sites, including but not limited to: MRH, MRHMC, MRHPT, all local clinics, and the bank. · Ensures appropriate storage, handling, security, and confidentiality of specimens, records, and deposits during transit. · Picks up supplies form local suppliers at the request of the buyer and picks up supplies and equipment from neighboring hospitals. · May assist with other duties as assigned. |

QUALIFICATIONS |
Minimum Requirements: |
· Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver’s license). · Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. · Must successfully pass a background check. · Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable). · Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
