Winnebago Industries, Inc. has an immediate need for an experienced Sales Coordinator. This position will be based in Middlebury, Indiana.
Primary Objective of Position: The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in managing unit orders from entry through to shipment, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. This position works closely with the sales team and is primarily responsible for scheduling production runs in alignment with customer demand and operational capacity. Daily communication with operations, financing, purchasing, and shipping is essential to monitor order progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure timely delivery. The Sales Coordinator acts as the central hub for order flow, balancing priorities and production timelines to support overall business goals.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Send multiple daily reports to sales team/management to help manage yard units. This would include PO’s Needed, Pending Units, Master Run, Dealer Inventory, Open Report and Warranty Registrations.
- Manage and monitor unit flooring processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with finance partners regarding interest rate floors and dealer credit arrangements.
- Enter sales orders for all unit orders by paying close attention to optional details and necessary sales and production notes.
- Schedule production runs. This includes protos, pilot and standard production runs. Update as needed (daily rate change, production line changes etc.).
- Initiate and approve dealer and option change orders.
- Maintain wholesale and MSRP Excel price sheets. Communicate with product manager(s) on when changes can be made and distributed to sales team/dealers.
- Set up licensing for new series with applicable states.
- Set up new dealers along with maintain existing dealers in Netsuite. This includes any changes to freight, flooring company, address, contact information or name changes.
- Update sales rep territories in Netsuite as any changes occur.
- Coordinate with Item Master, Product Manager and Engineer on new model setup.
- Maintain all unit options and packages in Netsuite. This includes working with several departments and is time sensitive.
- Enter and maintain programs for sales spiffs. Create and approve programs approved by General Managers. Assist dealers with questions regarding spiff and website issues and spiff account setup.
- Send pricing and spec information to NADA (approx. 6 times per year).
- Initiate dealer letters. This includes Franchise Letters, Show Authorization, State Specific Letters. All to be approved by General Managers and/or Don Clark.
- Maintain and distribute various show lists throughout the year.
- Work with paint shop and sales on custom paint schemes along with sending out weekly paint report.
- Assists with inventory quarterly.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Well organized, multi-tasker, detail oriented.
- RV experience highly recommended.
Physical Demands
- Office environment, majority computer work.
