Summary
The ideal candidate is to assist the members and guests with any golf related needs such as but not limited to managing the sales floor and making retail golf sales, taking phone calls and assisting the members and guests with their questions
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
- Member/Guest Interaction
- Phone Calls, general golf information
- Managing Sales Floor and Making Merchandise Sales
- Tournament Activities
- Care of Golf Shop (Opening & Closing, Cleaning)
- Continuing Education related to the position
- Other Responsibilities Related to Golf Operations
Internal Relationships
Reports to Director of Golf
External Relationships
Has regular contact with members and resort guests
Qualifications
- Golf/Hospitality background working one-on-one with customers
- Answering phones, any experience in sales would be preferred but is not required.
- Working knowledge of computers and experience working with computers is required.
Education/Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
