Responsibilities:- Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from location areas.
- Ability to create and lead a supportive team-oriented work climate that enables shipping team members to develop professionally and that values diversity, promotes teamwork and collaboration, and emphasizes quality, customer satisfaction, creativity, and cost effectiveness.
- Manage daily staffing and effective resource allocation to maximize process efficiency while meeting or exceeding customer SLA’s and meeting daily inbound/outbound schedule requirements.
- Coordinate and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that the facility can function as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Provide the business and technical leadership necessary to ensure both the department and facility meet and/or exceed goals in critical areas (Cost/Quality, System Utilization, Health, Safety and Environment).
- Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff.
- Improve the inventory accuracy based on Cycle Count and Inventory Control process.
- Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures and controls to ensure product meets customer required and recognized quality standards.
- Participation in and active promotion of all safety initiatives.
- Responsible for pulling and processing shop orders while maintaining efficiency.
- Responsible for ensuring all inbound and outbound loads are unloaded / loaded in a timely manner.
- OSHA Forklift Certificate.
- Two years of experience testing electronic products is preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to interpret data and other forms of information.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Should be able to lift an object weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for entire 8 hours shift.
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Must be able to work overtime including nights and weekends as needed.
- Exposure to stress related to meeting strict deadlines.
- Moderate to high levels of noise.
- Exposure to lift truck traffic.
- Able to use wireless RF scan guns.
