QC TECH/OVERNIGHT FUELER
The QC Techs/Overnight Fuelers play a dual role in ensuring both the safe fueling of aircraft and ground service equipment (GSE) and the integrity of fueling operations through quality control (QC) practices. This position is primarily a fueling role with added QC responsibilities, requiring consistent overnight coverage to support IROPs, diversions, and ad-hoc fueling needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overnights required
- Safely and efficiently conduct fueling and defueling operations for aircraft and GSE.
- Conduct daily QC checks on fueling operations, storage, and transfer systems.
- Utilize specialized testing equipment to ensure fuel quality standards are met.
- Document QC findings and prepare detailed reports for station leadership.
- Identify, escalate, and support resolution of deviations from quality standards.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Maintain QC equipment calibration and readiness.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for fueling issues.
- Operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and related fueling equipment.
- Accurately load, balance, and record all fuel transactions.
- Perform routine fueling equipment inspections to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain fueling equipment cleanliness and report any deficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with airline personnel during fueling activities.
- Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and PrimeFlight customer service standards.
- Support overnight operations for IROPs, diversions, and irregular fueling needs.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Prior experience in fueling or quality control preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written, oral, and diagram instructions.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
- Eligible to obtain all required airport credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, etc.).

- Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
