We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to grow with a company that’s making waves in the fitness industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Assist in developing and improving reconciliation, reporting, and review processes from the ground up
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the monthly close
• Support financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Partner with AP/AR teams to resolve reconciliation issues and ensure accurate reporting
• Identify and investigate variances, errors, and unusual items, escalating as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Purchasing, Operations, etc.) to resolve discrepancies and explain accounting impacts in clear terms
• Maintain schedules to support external audits and provide audit documentation as required
• Use Excel to analyze data, create schedules, and streamline reporting (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
• Support process improvement initiatives and help implement accounting best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of general accounting experience
• 1+ years of public accounting experience is a plus
• Experience in a multi-location/franchise environment is a plus
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage X3, or similar)
• Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• A proactive, team-player mindset with great communication skills
