Overview:

The Compliance Manager oversees and manages areas of compliance within the Texas Foster Care program. This includes external audits, client and family records and external compliance reporting. This position will serve on the senior leadership team and provide consistent updates to the foster care program on new regulations, contract changes and aid in training of staff in these areas.

Min:USD $56,000.00/Yr.Max:USD $62,000.00/Yr.Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Monitor foster parent training through use of DFPS, HHSC and Arrow systems and coordinate compliance concerns with local branch offices, aid in development of foster parent corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage PACES and DFPS reporting sites for Arrow compliance.
  • Monitor compliance with client and foster home files, including random audits and quality case reviews.
  • Provide assistance with and/or oversee external foster care file audits such as Contract or SSCC monitoring.
  • Train foster care staff in new regulations and monitor implementation of updated policy and procedures in the program.
  • Participate in Administrative Reviews and record requests.
  • Prepare written reports required by agency (progress reports, etc.).
  • Initiate compliance-related help desk tickets under change management system.
  • Assist with the collection and maintenance of letters from CCR and CCI.
  • May supervise initial and quarterly client case records review process to ensure case records compliance.
  • Work with Organizational Improvement (OI) and Data teams to develop and regulate compliance related work.
  • Attend staff meetings, seminars, and professional conferences.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
  • May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Social Work, Human Services, or in related field required. At least 3 years of experience working with children in the child welfare, mental health, or special education industry.
