Who you are:
What you’ll do:
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business unit planning and decision-making.
- Support budget managers in the preparation of detailed forecasts, variance analyses, and performance reports to track financial performance against budget and strategic goals.
- Analyze financial data and trends across the business to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations teams to gather pertinent data and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Reporting and Budgeting
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial reports to executive leadership.
- Support the annual budgeting process, including providing pertinent data to support setting financial targets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and stakeholders.
Strategic Analysis
- Support strategic initiatives and projects by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, acquisitions, and other business opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic planning and business decisions.
- Collaborate with senior management to assist in the development of long-term financial strategies and objectives.
Training
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance financial acumen among budget managers ensuring alignment with financial objectives and strategies.
What you’ll bring:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or an Equivalent discipline required. MBA a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Extensive experience with planning and forecasting software. Experience with Netsuite ERP and/or Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI and Tableau).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with superior attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, with a high sense of urgency.
- An elevated level of independent judgment and initiative.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Must function at an expert level in MS Excel.
- Ability to extract data from financial systems and manipulate it in offline environments.
