Job Summary
The US Commercial Bulk Deicing Sales Leader is responsible for leading and expanding our deicing product sales across key commercial sectors. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on sales leadership, ensuring strong customer relationships, market growth, and revenue generation in the seasonal and highly competitive bulk deicing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for commercial bulk deicing products and services
- Identify and target high-value customer segments
- Lead business development initiatives
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust tactics accordingly
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers
- Acts as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their operational needs and delivering tailored bulk deicing solutions
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions
- Team Leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and customer service teams to ensure service excellence
- Forecasting & Reporting
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage performance against revenue targets
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on pipeline activity, performance, and strategic opportunities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in bulk deicing, chemicals, or transportation-related sectors
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales target in a seasonal or operational complex industry
- Strong knowledge of bulk deicing products, services, application techniques, and regulatory environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel domestically, especially during the pre-winter and winter seasons
