Lead Accounts Receivable Representative - Indiana Physician Group - Full Time bei None

In this role the individual will:         

• Lead, mentor, and train the AR team
• Educate AR staff on pertinent updates of collection practices and workflow changes
• Assign work, manage workloads, and ensure team productivity and goals are met.
• Participate in regular team meetings
• Calculate quality and productivity scores
• Offer guidance on complex issues
• Oversee accurate and timely billing and claims processing
• Monitor accounts receivable to identify and resolve payment issues, denials, and discrepancies.
• Monitor the adjustments for appropriateness
• Follow up on outstanding claims and work with insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
• Provide actionable insights to the management team to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements and corrective actions.
• Implement best practices and process optimizations in the AR workflow
• Develop and execute action plans to resolve operational issues and reduce outstanding accounts.
• Handle escalated claims and high-dollar accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school graduate

Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical billing and accounts receivable, and denial and appeal process with 2 years of proven leadership experience in a similar role.
