Position Title: Field Supervisor
Department: 300 - Caregivers
Reports To: Director of Nursing/Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Field Supervisor at CSA Homecare is responsible for overseeing and supporting the caregiving staff, ensuring that high-quality care is provided to all clients. This role includes conducting home visits, providing necessary supplies to caregivers, and maintaining open communication between caregivers, clients, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision and Support:
-Conduct regular home visits to observe and support caregivers during their shifts, ensuring compliance with care plans and agency protocols.
-Provide guidance and mentorship to caregivers, offering feedback and assistance as needed.
2. Supply Management:
-Distribute gloves, masks, company shirts, and other necessary supplies to caregivers on a scheduled basis or as needed.
-Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that caregivers have the necessary materials to perform their duties safely and effectively.
3. Client Care and Satisfaction:
-Conduct client assessments during home visits to ensure their needs are being met and address any concerns promptly.
-Ensure that care plans are being followed and update care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers as necessary.
4. Training and Development:
-Assist in the training and orientation of new caregivers, ensuring they understand agency protocols and client-specific care requirements.
-Organize and participate in ongoing training sessions for caregivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
5. Communication and Documentation:
-Serve as a liaison between caregivers, clients, and management to facilitate clear communication and address any issues or concerns.
-Document all home visits, caregiver observations, and client interactions in the appropriate systems and ensure accurate records are maintained.
6. Compliance and Safety:
-Ensure that all caregivers adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene practices.
-Monitor and report any safety hazards, incidents, or concerns to management.
7. Emergency Response:
-Act as the first point of contact in emergency situations, providing immediate support and ensuring that appropriate emergency procedures are followed.
-Coordinate with healthcare professionals and emergency services as needed.
8. Any additional administrative or clinical tasks assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a caregiving role, with experience in home healthcare preferred.
- Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred.
- Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in using healthcare software for documentation.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Hoyer lifts and other patient transfer equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to safely assist client lifts and assist clients as needed, including the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for conducting home visits.
