RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Associate General Counsel will be a member of the Legal leadership team, assisting the Chief Legal Officer in all aspects of legal affairs and managing multiple practice areas within the legal department.
- This role involves significant interaction with senior management, including working closely with clients to provide strategic advice on company initiatives.
- Mentors and guides legal staff.
- Provides work direction and strategic guidance to department staff, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain productive working relationships.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus professional degree, Juris Doctor or equivalent, and successful admission to the Minnesota State Bar required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Twelve years or more experience required as an attorney with satisfactory work performance and previous leadership experience
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's License required for occasional travel to meetings, hearings, site visits.
- This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- The expected annual compensation range for this position is $172,000 - $295,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
