Job Description:

Role:- Reinsurance Business Solution Analyst

Mode of Work:- Hybrid- NY / NJ

Contract/Full time

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, create functional specifications, and prepare detailed user interface documentation.

  • Analyze and document as-is business processes using Microsoft Visio; define and design to-be processes for operational efficiency.

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration needs and assess upstream/downstream impacts.

  • Support QA and UAT cycles, including test case validation, defect resolution, and overall product readiness.

  • Manage and maintain a backlog of enhancement requests in JIRA; work closely with business stakeholders to define priorities.

  • Deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders to communicate requirements, status, and recommendations effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven Business Analyst experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in the Reinsurance industry, with strong knowledge of Underwriting and/or Claims processes.

  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and prioritization.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for process mapping and JIRA for backlog management.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

  • Experience collaborating on large-scale business and technology initiatives.
