Property Administrator, CAS (Commercial Property Management)

 

Overview 

The Property Administrator assists in all aspects of the assigned portfolio of office, industrial, and retail properties including operations and financial activities. This position is responsible for vendor contract management, certificate of insurance, and monthly reporting. The Property Administrator reports to the Managing Director.

  • Lease Administration  
  • Quality Control  
  • Customer Service  
  • Lease Enforcement  
  • Financial Reporting 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities 
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Oversees the collection of rent, payment of expenses, compliance with lease terms and preparation of all required legal notices.    
  • Helps prepare the budget packages, control of operating expenditures, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance reports, and variance reports.    
  • Supports property manager of commercial portfolio.  
  • Respond to tenant questions in a timely manner.  
  • Contact tenants to collect overdue rent or to discuss other issues that require immediate attention.  
  • Establish rapport with tenants so they always feel valued and appreciated.  
  • Reports any problems or issues to property manager.  
  • Manages records and files of current tenants. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)  
  • Experience in commercial/residential leasing or property management  
  • Excellent communication and time management skills  
  • Well-developed customer service skills
