Job Purpose (Why Job Exists?)
The role of Shift In-charge in Production is critical to ensuring the smooth functioning of production operations within the organization. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and manage the production activities during a specific shift, ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). He ensures coordination between various supervisors in the shift to ensure smooth operations. He also works with shift in-charges’ in other operations to ensure smooth flow of operations
Key Result Area
| Responsible for overall shift Operation activates of the plant. |
| Planning and coordinating with Mechanical, Inst and Electrical for any shutdown or planned job. |
| Implementation of improvement projects like Kaizen, Suggestion and 5S. |
| Coordination between operations & maintenance team. |
