The Role
Are you ready to take your fabrication skills to the next level in a dynamic mining environment? Genesis Minerals is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Boilermaker to support our thriving Leonora based Gwalia operation. This is your chance to be part of a high-performing team where your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency of our Gold Processing plant.
Safety, collaboration and teamwork are key as you carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, performing high quality fabrication, welding, repairs and enhancements to OEM standard on our range of plant including conveyors, pumps and compressors, tanks, pipework and assisting in crusher and pump rebuilds and installations.
Whether you're seeking a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) from Perth, Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) from Kalgoorlie, or prefer a residential role, we’ve got options to suit your lifestyle on a Lifestyle 8/6 roster.
What We’re Looking For
You will be a motivated, team focused and flexible individual with a strong appetite for problem-solving and process improvement. Proven structural repair experience on Gold processing equipment, supported by a relevant Trade qualification in Boilermaking or Fabrication will set you up for success as will the following:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Working at heights and confined space tickets
- Franna, EWP and Telehandler tickets are highly desirable
- Pronto experience is highly desirable
- Manual C class Drivers License required
