Teacher of Chemistry

Full-time, fixed-term position for Semester 1, 2026.

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking an exceptional Teacher of Chemistry to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and nurture a lifelong passion for Science in our students.

This role will see you

• Inspire and foster a passion and appreciation of learning.
• Work as a pedagogical educator, committed to driving and sharing best practice with other teachers in the Department.
• Facilitate the exploration of student interests, fostering the pursuit of academic and personal growth.
• Support the individual wellbeing of our students.

You will:

• Have experience teaching Chemistry in VCE and a passion for the education of students from Years 7 to 12.
• Work in partnership to deliver exceptional educational experiences we offer our students.
• Collaborate with others to educate and nurture the whole person, fostering each student’s intellectual, spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional growth.
• Use your skills to actively contribute to co-curricular activities

VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential. Graduates are encouraged to apply.
