Cashier Compounding Pharmacy bei Kubat HealthCare

The Compounding Pharmacy Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring smooth customer service operations within a specialized pharmacy setting. This position involves handling transactions, assisting customers with prescription pickups, and supporting pharmacy staff with administrative duties while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. The hours for this position are 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

• Promptly greet patients, customers, and visitors with a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor
• Handle all pharmacy customer payment and credit transactions accurately
• Ensure prescriptions given to patients are correct with respect to patients using name along with address to confirm.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and report discrepancies
• Assist is resolving customer concerns and complaints
• Organize and file prescription records and receipts.
• Assist in labeling and packaging non-hazardous compounded medications (under supervision).
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow pharmacy protocols for handling sensitive health information.
• Maintain the appearance of the pharmacy showroom and work area by ensuring the area is kept neat and clean
• Ensure products are displayed and merchandised to maximize selling opportunities
• Maintain and manage over-counter drug products, order, and stock adequate inventory
• Assist Pharmacist with various duties, as needed
• Execute rules and regulations related to operational, administrative, and professional written procedures and policies of pharmacy services
• Comply with company safety along with hazardous materials policies
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years' experience as a cashier or with POS systems
