Purchaser (FULL TIME) bei Southwest Health System, Inc.

Manage and coordinate the purchase of goods and services for SHS in an efficient and economical manner. Under supervision, provides in-depth research and analytical support for materials and service procurement, and/or leads in less-complex research and analytics related to supply chain and materials procurement and distribution facility-wide. Develops and executes procurement strategies that are designed to minimize the cost of materials. Assists with development of and maintains effective working relationships with vendors, vendor agents, and department heads and staff. Assists with the management of item master, delivery relationships, receiving, and order placement.

Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in purchasing/shipping/receiving/storeroom preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license, with continued clear driving record.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to solve practical problems; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• 40 wpm typing speed.
• Preferably Cerner Supply Chain knowledge
• Strong communication skills.
