Your role
The IT Hardware Category & Sourcing team is responsible for the category delivery across all category scorecard KPIs. Responsibilities include the development and execution of a category management strategy that align with the strategy, objectives and Operating Plan of Group Technology and UBS overall. A Category & Sourcing Manager IT Hardware is also responsible for developing, structuring and executing Go-to-Market / Deal strategies for high scale and volume IT Hardware deals for UBS globally, with the objective to drive value and optimize costs.
We are looking for someone like you to:
• be responsible for the Category delivery across all of the Category Scorecard dimensions
• contribute to the development of the IT Hardware Category Strategy by providing insights and recommendations
• prepare and manage complex negotiations where a new vendor is being considered, or engagements with existing challenging vendors; facilitate elements of complex deals such as: RFx structure, Base Case, Business Case, Commercialization Model, Solution / Proposal Evaluation, Transition, Transformation, & Termination Planning, Deal structuring and Execution
• define commercial constructs to motivate vendor behaviors that are aligned to UBS strategy and goals
• act as a trusted advisor for all internal business partners, with a strong emphasis on concise and accurate communication, both written and verbal
• prepare reports on category insights and provide strategic recommendations to the Category Lead and/or senior management
• be accountable as the Vendor Relation Manager for selected third-party technology providers
