About Our Opportunity 

We are seeking InventorySupply Techs for our Dollar General Department for both second and third shift.  The Supply Tech accurately loads inventory to Dollar General shuttle by utilizing specific attention to detail, mathematics and critical thinking skills.  

Responsibilities 

• Maintains appropriate and accurate inventory load volume 
• Verifies accuracy on DG shuttle decanter through accurate count and weight verification
• Verifies and corrects inaccuracy by following correct mathematical process
• Escalates shuttle decanter issues to team lead or supervisor
• Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
• A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required. 
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned. 

Qualifications 

• High School education; Continued education preferred
• Three months prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment required
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced distribution environment
• Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions  
• Ability to use mathematics to provide accurate inventory for DG shuttle
• Critical thinking skills and attention to details is crucial
• Advanced computer skills required
