What the role involves...
- Leading and advising on complex employee relations cases.
- Ensuring HR policies and practices are legally compliant and risk-aware.
- Partnering with leaders on workforce planning, talent and succession.
- Coaching and supporting managers to build their capability and confidence.
- Using people data and insights to inform decisions and drive change.
- Contributing to HR projects and local learning initiatives.
Who we are looking for...
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience in a business-facing HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and risk management.
- A proven track record of managing complex ER cases, ideally within a unionised setting.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused mindset.
We value flexibility and are open to applications from those seeking either full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) arrangements.
