Part-Time Facilities Operations Technician bei Delta Center

JOB SUMMARY:

Be a part of the many different events the Delta Center hosts for our community, including Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth games, concerts, conventions, family shows, community based events and more. Help ensure our events are a great experience for our guests, and have some fun while doing so.

Hours: Part-Time

Compensation: $18/hour

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help with completing event set up and tear down needs
• Complete on-call tasks as they arise
• Interact with guests as well as other departments within the facilities

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 18 years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Previous event work experience helpful
• Mechanical and equipment knowledge helpful
• Be able to lift heavy objects alone or as part of a team
• Be able to work outdoors in inclement weather
• Be able to work at a fast pace as needed
• Must possess a valid Utah driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements
• Must be able to pass a drug test

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
• This person must be able to lift 50 lbs
