Primary Responsibility:

Bands and rebinds large scrap boxes and mounts paperboard rolls by forklift as needed to meet production requirements. 

What You'll Do:

• Roll Handling: Correctly pull rolls from the staging area, trim bad layers, and change roll stands as needed.
• Setup: Properly set up the roll splicer and roll stands according to instructions.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily forklift checklist and routine equipment maintenance.
• Safety: Maintain a clean work environment and be a Certified Forklift operator.
• Procedures: Adjust to and follow new procedures and innovations for efficiency and safety.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic math and measurement.
• Certifications: Certified powered industrial equipment (forklift) operator in accordance with SCT training.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to walk, stand, use hands, and lift/move 25 to 75 pounds.
• Must perform these functions for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Specific vision abilities required for the job.

Commitment and Availability: 

Regular attendance and punctuality are fundamental requirements. You must also be available for overtime work when necessary.
