Brief Description: 
Responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align customer orders with available resources, ensuring products are manufactured and delivered on time. This role coordinates with production, procurement, warehouse, and quality teams to balance workloads, optimize machine and labor utilization, and respond quickly to changes in demand or production capacity. The Production Scheduler monitors progress against the plan, troubleshoots potential bottlenecks, and ensures that all scheduling decisions support efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, warehouse, and maintenance teams to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to minimize downtime and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Review work orders and confirm material and resource availability before production starts.
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly to all affected teams.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling data in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Prepare and distribute production performance and capacity utilization reports.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency.
  • Knowledge of ERP System & Material Planning, Capacity Planning
  • Understanding SIOP Planning, Supply Plan.
  • Master Scheduling / Demand Forecasting.
  • Interact with Sales / Manufacturing / Product Team to interpret their needs and requirement to understand demand.
  • Understanding MRP and Material Planning process and close interaction with Procurement/Buyer team
  • Planning & Forecast of long lead material with the help of Sales, Engineering & Product team.
  • Track & Report generations of SIOP & Supply Plan.
  • Inventory Analysis and action plan to reduce inventory.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans, capacity allocation for new products.
  • Good Excel & MS office knowledge
