Career Opportunities: Patient Identity Coordinator (657871)

The Patient Identity Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the investigation and resolution of identified complex errors in the Enterprise Medical Records (EMR) systems. The Patient Identity Coordinator will use the EMR systems to assist all users in the correction of errors by following established policies and procedures. Patient identity Coordinators will analyze, resolve and maintain the integrity of patient records to support patient safety

Education:
- Associate’s Degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- For internal applicants only, Associate’s Degree preferred or two years of HIM experience and has exceeded the JHHS quality and productivity expectations for the previous six months.
Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training: RHIA or RHIT preferred.

Work Experience: Working knowledge of and experience in EMPI/EMR system applications and job functions preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 18.59/hour - Maximum 30.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
