Answer: Peoples National Bank of Kewanee is a long-standing financial institution in Central Illinois. We opened our doors on March 1st 1928, and have been serving the people of Kewanee and surrounding areas for over 90 years.
During that span of time we have grown and expanded. We now have two branches in Kewanee, IL, and eight additional branches in Annawan, Bradford, Dwight, Manilus, Reyonlds, Sheffield, Seneca, and Tampico IL.
Peoples National Bank of Kewanee continues to grow and thrive, and we pride ourselves on looking forward and establishing new and exciting products, services, and programs for our customers and communities.
We are looking to add a Full-Time Bank Teller to our PNB team at our Kewanee location.

What will a Bank Teller Do?
- Accurately process, deposits, withdrawals, and payments
- Balance Cash drawer daily with accuracy and efficiently.
- Understand bank products and respond and refer customers appropriately to CSR's, Lenders, and other banking professionals accordingly.
- Provide superb customer service by exhibiting friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Answer telephone in a timely and courtesy manner
- Able to learn, understand, and enact retail banking policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Accept assignments and projects as needed to maintain adequate staffing levels throughout the branch systems
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Qualifications, Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Banking experience and cash handling experience preferred.
- Retail, sales, or cash handling experience is required.
Skills needed
- Proven Customer Service Ability
- Strong Computer Skills
- Excellent Written and Verbal commutation
- Strong aptitude for math
- Attention to detail and multitasking
- Able to maintain confidentiality for customers
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Most duties are performed in climate-controlled office environment. Maybe exposed to hot or cold weather conditions when traveling to various branches
