Responsibilities:
The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, kitchen, and surrounding areas. In addition to cleaning duties, the Steward will assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as chopping, shredding, washing, and rotating stock to ensure all products are fresh and unexpired.

- Operations: Washes all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, steam kettles, etc., and ensures they meet Canyon Ranch standards regarding cleanliness. You will be working independently and supporting the culinary team with their supples.
- Cleanliness: Cleans, organizes, and maintains the kitchen and surrounding areas including sweeping and washing floor as directed. This includes organizing, transporting and dumping refuse in the correct dumpsters as directed.
- Organization: Organizing, assembling and stocking kitchen located machines to support kitchen staff in production of Guests’ dishes; Maintains the dishwasher, setting it up for service, changing the water as necessary, changing the detergents and rinser as necessary and breaking down and cleaning it as directed; May also run errands and support other tasks to support kitchen and food service venue staff.
Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
Hours available days, evenings and weekends. We are a full service resort and never close our doors.
