Resource Paraprofessional at Ackerman Elementary bei Millard Public Schools

Ackerman Elementary is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative resource paraprofessional to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with individual students and small groups in a variety of settings throughout the day to support learning goals in reading, writing, math, and social skills.

• Collaborate effectively with teachers to provide targeted support, share progress data, and adjust strategies to meet student needs.

• Create and maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.

• Assist students with organization, staying on task, and completing assignments.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children and a passion for fostering their academic and social growth.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both students and staff.

• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude that contributes to a supportive team culture.

Hours:

• Monday/Friday - 10:00am-2:00pm

• Wednesday - 10:00am - 3:45pm
• Tuesday/Thursday - 10:00am - 2:30pm
