Objective of job:

  • To protect the organization in four major categories: personnel, operation, information and infrastructure. It is the objective of the security coordinator to enure safety and security compliance regarding all aspects of the organization and protect it's integrity from external threats. It's ultimate goal is to ensure the proper functioning of your company and mitigate security risks for Duncan sites. 

 

Principal activities:

  • Support work processes and procedures related to Security and Compliance (e.g. CTPAT, ISO 27001, TISAX, ISO 45001)
  • Monitor, input and output on all related KPI’s for Draexlmaier Duncan sites.
  • Possible travel to other Draexlmaier sites in U.S. to review and ensure security compliance.
  • Acts as the coordinating unit and multiplier for corporate Security Management.
  • Responsible for evaluating and re-evaluating risk assessments and updating documentation through the compliant communication channels.
  • Works together with the local security service providers and will ensure that they work correctly; based on the existing directives and in agreement with the head of Corporate Security. The range of duties and other details on the work of the local security service staff will be adapted and documented.
  • Ensures that all the employees, contractors, and 3rd party affiliates within the parameters of Draexlmaier Duncan locations are informed of the directives on the topic of security (e.g. information on travel safety, conduct at the workplace).
  • Assists with the setup, operation and development of the security organization within the company.
  • Responsible for all CCTV investigations and access programs for all sites in Duncan, SC.
  • Responsible for all Site/Physical Security Activities.
  • Point of contact for all SOS service providers and for inquires made by the authorities.
  • Point of contact for all security related drills, including canine, contraband, active shooter.
  • Responsible to assist and conduct crisis and emergency management simulations as directed by the Head of Corporate Security.
  • Responsible to act as support function for all first responder meetings, coordination, drills, and trainings.
  • Be contact person for plant personnel for Information Security questions and needs.
  • Support assesments and audts related to Information Security (Infosec) in close collaboration with the global information securty organization. 
  • Support in continuous identification of local Information Security risks or solve them in coordination with the Regional Information Security Officer. 
  • Act as multiplicator for Information Security messages and awareness measures.
  • Support in local projects where Information Security expertise is needed. 
  • Report to the plant management on the status of Information Security in alignment with the RISO. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Associates Degree preferred or equivalant work experience. 
  • 3 to 5 years of Physical Security experience. 
  • 3 to 5 years of Emergency Response experience. 
  • 1 to 2 years of Customs and Trade Partnership against Terrorism. 
  • 3 to 5 years of CCTV and surveillance operations. 
  • Good technical knowledge of Physical Security and Law Enforcement investigations.
