- Sell advertising campaigns utilizing both radio and digital products to local and regional advertisers from an assigned account list.
- Prepare marketing proposals and creative ideas to present to customers that will assist in the achievement of their overall business goals.
- Prospect for new clients on a continuous basis. Learn about their business and use that knowledge to present outlines of various schedules and/or programs that will draw customers to their business.
- Achieve or exceed daily activity and sales goals as determined with the Director of Sales.
- Ensure proper credit applications are completed and be responsible for timely collection of payment from advertisers.
- Participate in training programs, assigned by the Company, designed to increase job knowledge and job performance.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with advertising clients.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems.
- Complete all necessary paperwork to ensure proper internal communications and good customer service.
- Maintain a positive cooperative working relationship with copywriters, production and traffic personnel as well as other support staff to ensure clients’ needs are met.
