Summary:

Manages each loan file from conditional approval to clear to close by acting with urgency and communicating frequently and effectively with customers, loan officers, and other members of the operations team, to move loans through the pipeline as efficiently as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs a general evaluation of each application to ensure the loan file meets the minimum standards for submission to underwriting
• Responsible for managing each loan file from conditional approval to clear to close meeting established SLAs within the operations team
• Communicates loan documentation requests with the borrower via email and over the phone
• Reviews file documentation and ensures all items received are accurate and are accurately represented on the loan application
• Corrects mistakes and makes updates to the loan application throughout the process
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications: 

Proven experience as a mortgage loan processor or similar mortgage position

Basic understanding of loan guidelines and underwriting procedures

Strong work ethic with an attention to detail

Excellent written and oral communication skills

The ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
