The Head of Training is responsible for the global learning strategy to enhance retail performance across all sales channels (Retail, Wholesale, Franchise, Travel Retail) with over 225 internal boutiques and approximately 1500 retail staff. This role leads a team of 5 and indirectly 24 market learning professionals and partners with Retail leadership, Categories, Merchandising and Marketing to improve KPIs and client experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategy: develop and implement a global learning strategy focused on sustainably improving retail performance, client experience, and retailization of wholesale accounts.
  • Content development: create training programs and modules for sales techniques, products training, sales protocols & processes, business acumen, boutique leadership for all sales ambassadors.
  • POS training: build a learning ecosystem that supports continuous development, including in-boutique coaching and self-learning driven by the learner and boutique manager.
  • Measure impact: track the effectiveness of training programs and demonstrate ROI in terms of increased sales and client satisfaction, with a focus on boutique performance.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: collaborate with cross-Maison stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted solutions across all product categories, all sales channels.
  • Team leadership: lead a team of learning professionals, providing coaching and guidance.

 

You’ll have

 

  • a university degree in psychology, business, or the humanities
  • profound experience in developing and implementing successful retail-focused learning strategies both on products and sales techniques, prior experience in luxury and/or high-end retail sales is a plus
  • a deep understanding of retail KPIs, sales processes and client experience best practices
  • the knowledge of master principles of adult learning and instructional design
  • the ability to create blended learning programs that drive measurable results in a retail setting
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • a strategic-thinking-mindset focused on driving retail performance
  • an organized way of working by managing multiple projects and budgets
  • passion about training in the luxury retail industry to boost performance
  • fluent English skills
