Vallourec is recruiting a Global Accessories Operations Manager in the OCTG Accessories business line. This new position will be based in Meudon, the Group's headquarters.

The OCTG accessories business line is embarking on an ambitious initiative to create and implement a comprehensive industrial roadmap tailored to the specificities of this activity.

This effort is driven by the need to standardize practices, enhance productivity, and close performance gaps amongst product sites by developing updated benchmarks and best practices. The department seeks to align its operational goals with the broader group objectives, to ensure consistency and excellence across all sites. 

In this role, your main missions and responsibilities would be :

  • Deploy standards and performance governance tools:
    • Develop performance measurement tools for an accessory shop, implement them throughout the organization, and ensure they are utilized in daily operations.
    • Build & consolidate productivity benchmarks per shop, and analyze gaps to benchmark for each shop
    • Coordinate with Group industrial functions (VAM TCC, Industrialization, Quality, Safety, VAM Services) to identify the standards specific to accessories to be deployed across the organization
  • Support local accessory shops to define their operational roadmap to bridge their productivity gaps (cost & lead time) 
  • Monitor roadmap implementation, and provide necessary support / guidance whenever needed
  • Be the representative of the accessory’s activity in the definition of Group operational excellence roadmap
  • Consolidate & prepare monthly reporting of productivity KPI
  • Develop a costing model per production process to allow financial comparison of financial performance across sites
  • Investigate value of the implementation of a light S&OP, and develop process if needed

You will work closely with production line managers and have weekly interaction wwith head of production site and central function ((VAM TCC, safety, industrialization, operational excellence, VAM Services). 

On a monthly basis you will be in contact with the regional COO. 

This position include frequent travel (every 4 weeks).

Skillls and background expected : 

  • You hold a Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • You are familiar with production and quality methodologies such as Lean Management and 5S.

  • You have a solid understanding of safety regulations within an industrial environment.

  • You possess strong expertise in VAM connections and manufacturing processes (threading, handling, and inspection).

  • You demonstrate sound controlling skills, particularly in cost management, P&L analysis, and flow optimization.

  • You are results-oriented, with an analytical mindset and proven leadership capabilities.

  • Being fluent in english is mandatory, a second language is a plus.
