ServiceDesk Analyst

As our highlyvalued Service Desk Analyst based in Brisbane, your role will beto providehigh quality customer service and technical support to our team members atGreat Southern Bank. Through effective communication you will keep team membersinformed on the status of IT incidents and requests and you will leveragestrong interpersonal skills to engage IT support teams and external partners todeliver services in a timely manner. You also have the opportunity to identifyand develop system and process improvements to deliver efficient and reliableIT services, supporting ourpurpose of helping every Australian own their own home.  

The Technology Service Desk provides first levelIT support to team members at Great Southern Bank. You work alongside yourService Desk colleagues to monitor, record and respond to IT incidents andrequests, supporting teams in corporate office and branch locations acrossAustralia. 

Do things differently with us  

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

  • 1-2 years previous IT service and support experience
  • Tertiary qualification from a recognised institution
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with a customer service orientation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Basic understanding of the ITIL framework
