We are searching for a Financial Analyst based in Ensenada, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for any financial analysis, key metrics indicators, and support our manufacturing customers and other peers, we are looking to add an analytical problem solver who will evaluate complicated issues, engage themselves in data collection and deliver impactful insights and recommendations.
Essential Functions:
- Performing the day- to-day financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas.
- Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas.
- Prepare variance analysis and explanations for divisional and company financial reporting packages.
- Set up in SAP system the cost for new products, based on our procedures and policies.
- Prepares Weekly inventory reports/ publishes them and analyze with the different business leaders.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators on the P&L as well as in working capital.
- Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
- Support Month end close (JE’S) and all the reporting involved.
- Work with business leaders on monthly forecasts, as well as annual budgeting and strategic planning initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Hyperion financial system and SAP experience are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in a Financial Analyst position or similar.
- Proven analytical ability.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Financial modeling experience.
- Working knowledge of P&L/working capital.
- Communication skills English and Spanish (Written, verbal and interpersonal).
