What You’ll Do
- Help with daily living tasks like bathing, dressing, meals, and grooming
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
- Assist with medications and track health needs
- Support fun outings, community involvement, and social events
- Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Keep clear and accurate documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment
- Stay calm and take action during emergencies or crisis situations
- Work closely and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and families
Flexible Scheduling Details
Mandatory Orientation/Training:
- 2 consecutive weeks, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
? After Training – YOU Choose:
- Pick from open shifts based on your availability
- Perfect for those needing a schedule that fits around school, another job, or family time
Minimum Hours Requirement:
- Must work at least 30 hours per month to stay active in the PRN role
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Have your own vehicle
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with physical care needs
- Preferred: Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Patience, empathy, and reliability
- Ability to pass background checks
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, or holidays when needed
Can You Meet These Physical Demands?
- Carry up to 50+ lbs
- Push/pull 100+ lbs
- Stand for extended periods (4+ hours/day)
- Perform physically active care and household support tasks
