Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-minded Sign Service Technician who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to solve problems while delivering outstanding customer service. This person should be comfortable working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
A Day in the Life of a Sign Service Technician
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on illuminated and non-illuminated signs
- Diagnose electrical and structural issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Climb ladders, operate bucket trucks, and work at heights safely with fall protection
- Use basic hand and power tools, measuring tapes, and electrical testing equipment
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding service updates, timelines, and any unexpected issues
- Complete detailed service reports, including before-and-after photos of each job
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure jobs are completed to company quality standards
A Few Qualifications This Person Must Have
- Must not be afraid of heights and able to work comfortably at elevated levels
- Must know how to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required)
- Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical skills
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds, climb, bend, squat, and work outdoors in varying weather

Compensation DOE
Salary Range: $25–$35 per hour (non-exempt)

Requirements
- Prior experience as a Sign Service Technician or related electrical/field service role preferred
- Proficiency using power tools, multimeters, and service equipment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
