ABOUT US

Located in Nopa, Early to Rise is one of San Francisco's most loved brunch spots, featuring an old-school menu, but with all of our major staples made in-house. We are proud to make all of our own breakfast meats (bacon, ham, sausage, etc.), breads (bagels, English muffins and so on) as well as butter, hot sauce, jam ... you name it. We treat every job in the restaurant as a craft to be proud of and seek to create a positive, energetic work culture. Love the energy of a bustling brunch service but ready to stretch your skills? We’re looking for a Floor Supervisor who wants hands-on professional development while working alongside a talented General Manager who enjoys mentoring future leaders.

ABOUT YOU:

You will enjoy being part of the action—serving guests and guiding the floor—while learning scheduling, inventory, and team-coordination skills that prepare you for the next step in your hospitality career. As we expand into private events and catering, you’ll have plenty of room to grow with us and help shape exciting new offerings. You bring a solid background in front-of-house service and at least a year of supervisory or lead-server experience. Organized and upbeat, you know how to keep things running smoothly while delivering warm, attentive service. Most importantly, you create an inviting, lively space that makes both guests and teammates feel welcome—and you’re excited to build your skills as our restaurant continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others in a high-pressure environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Current California Food Handler certification,

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, P&L oversight, and vendor relations.

  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent familiarity with POS software (Toast preferred).

  • Strong guest-service orientation with the ability to handle escalated issues diplomatically.
