Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting, and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools.
Position Reports To: VP of Supply Chain
Purpose of Position: The Fulfillment Center Manager is accountable for the overall performance of a high-volume distribution and fulfillment operation. This role is responsible for leading warehouse and fleet activities across inbound, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, put away, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure consistent achievement of key performance metrics: order accuracy, on-time shipments, warehouse and fleet productivity, inventory accuracy, shrink management, and operational costs.
- Develop and maintain labor plans, staffing models, and scheduling for the warehouse and local fleet to support variable demand.
- Maintain facility, equipment, and fleet readiness through preventative maintenance and vendor management.
- Hire, train, and supervise department members, set performance goals, resolve employee conflicts, and encourage teamwork.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example, ensures warehouse staff results through hiring, training, counseling, and supervising employees.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company-specific safety programs.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve quality and reduce error rates.
- Utilize methodologies to optimize workflow, space utilization, and process design.
- Implement standardization, automation, and technology enhancements within the facility.
- Manage operating budget and drive cost containment without compromising service levels.
- Partner with Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure alignment on customer expectations and service commitments.
- Provide regular reporting and operational insights to senior leadership.
- Support network-wide initiatives, system implementations, and best practice sharing.

Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience, participation in group insurance plans upon eligibility, paid time off, sick leave, parental leave and more. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Part-time employees are eligible for up to six (6) days of paid sick leave (subject to state and local laws), two (2) weeks of paid parental leave, and participation in the 401k. Employees that move from part-time to full-time status may receive less than ten (10) PTO days based on their anniversary date. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or related field is preferred
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated success in managing large teams and delivering results in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in data-driven decision making.
- Working knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERP platforms, and MS Office Suite; experience with automation and process improvement tools preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack safely and responsibly
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence during stressful or confidential situations
- Ability to work in hot or cold conditions for duration of shift
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift minimum 50 lbs. to waist high repeatedly
