We’re seeking a Technical Project Manager – Touring I with a strong AV background and experience in touring logistics or technical coordination. This role supports project execution by managing equipment, technical details, and personnel logistics to ensure flawless delivery at every stop.

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Technical Project Manager – Touring I, you’ll work closely with the Director of Touring, internal teams, venues, and technicians to ensure technical excellence and consistency across projects. From pre-tour planning to on-site execution, you’ll serve as the technical liaison ensuring every detail is accounted for.

🔧 Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Touring and team to maintain technical standards and support pre-tour logistics

• Review technical elements of tour quotes for accuracy in equipment and staffing

• Participate in venue walk-throughs and site visits to identify logistical constraints and recommend solutions

• Assist with equipment planning, ensuring pull-lists are accurate and submitted on time

• Provide on-site technical support during setup, execution, and breakdown phases

• Communicate recurring technical challenges to Engineering for continuous improvement

• Contribute to staff development by identifying training needs and facilitating knowledge sharing

🛠️ Skills and Knowledge

• Strong technical skills across AV systems and live production environments

• Ability to problem-solve under pressure and make clear decisions in dynamic settings

• Project management skills with a sharp eye for detail and deadlines

• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills

• Safety awareness in touring and event environments

✅ What You Bring to the Table

• 2–4 years of experience in the AV industry

• Experience supporting touring logistics or technical coordination

• Ability to multitask and manage details in high-pressure situations

• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)

• Comfortable working in both office and event venue environments, with occasional lifting (< 25 lbs)
